Here at Mission BioCapital, we love working with entrepreneurs like you. We and our partner life science incubators are constantly developing new ways to provide a launchpad for world-changing science. 

As biotech entrepreneurs, you have unique needs: You need lab space fitted with state-of-the-art research equipment; professional support staff who can manage everything from EH&S training to proper handling of biohazard waste; office space for meetings with your team and potential investors; and a vibrant, collaborative space in which to share ideas and expertise with other exciting life science companies. 

You also need capital to pay for those critical early experiments, consultants, the rent, the insurance. You need leading-edge discovery and development services. You need legal advice and accounting expertise.  

You need advice on what those critical early experiments should be. You need perspective on defining a meaningful roadmap for an early-stage biotech company. 

The Platinum Program was designed to meet all these needs! Together with our partners, we aim to find high-potential early-stage biomedical innovations powered by enthusiastic teams and back them for the best possible chance for success. 

The 2025 Platinum Program will award each of up to eight winning start-ups, including at least two European companies, with:

  • A guaranteed lab bench in one of Mission BioCapital’s affiliated incubators located in 13 cities in the U.S. and Europe
  • Up to $500,000 per awardee
  • Drug discovery services from Alloy Therapeutics and HitGen to enable companies with a derisked pathway to lead candidate
  • Legal advising on company incorporation, technology licenses, cap tables, etc. from Goodwin
  • Day-to-day accounting support and finance services from van den Boom & Associates
  • Strategic scientific and business development mentorship from experts across MBC’s corporate network, including sponsors Mission BioCapital, Lilly, OVI, and Alloy Therapeutics, and HitGen

 Applications for the 2025 Platinum Program will open April 1, 2025.

The application window for the 2025 Platinum Program will open April 1st and close May 14th, 2025.  

The 2025 Platinum Program will offer for a single application window for EU and U.S. applicants. Applicants can indicate within the application where they are currently incubating / where they plan to incubate.
